Kurt Cobain's hand-me-down Sonic Blue Mustang
Courtney Love had received a rather touching letter from a fan and apparently decided to send out one of Kurt Cobain's In Utero tour Mustangs as a gift to him.
This Mustang was used prominently on Nirvana's last tour and television performance during 1994, on a European show call The Tunnel. The "contour body" sticker on the headstock is present in these photos and is consistent with the clips from the show (his other Sonic Blue Mustang used on MTV Live and Loud 93 did not have this sticker). All of the Mustangs Kurt used during this tour were originally stock 1993 made in Japan reissue Mustangs that can still be purchased for around $400+ US.
