capita anche a me alle volte con varie periferiche usb, ho una ms pro duo cinese che su 10 volte che la inserisco, 9 volte il pc non la vede...di solico cambio pc...
cmq prova a riavviare, e poi a disinstallare\istallare il lettore, ma credo che lo hai già fatto...
