This is all unbearable I see my country being destroyed by Israel and Hezbollah while the whole world watches in silence. When Syria was forced to end its occupation of Lebanon, all the Lebanese felt they were one step closer to achieving peace with all their neighbors. Little did they know that this was all a big scheme! Syria is watching now, and Bashar Assad is having a blast, his threat to late Prime Minister Hariri has become a reality. Lebanon is now a wasteland. The Lebanese feel they have been betrayed one more time by the so called international community. For the past 15 years and under Syrian occupation we have been trying to rebuild our cities and our lives after paying the price of every single Arab Israeli conflict. Now the rules of the game are so clear. Now we know the truth that we've been seeking all this time. Syria, Iran, and Israel are allied against us. We have no friends no allies no protection. We are alone, watching as the Israeli war planes and Hezbollah fighters create theatrical chaos as innocent lives are taken minute after minute. The media isn't helping. The images and reports that are coming out of Beirut are not being fair to the Lebanese cause. They only interview those who support Hezbollah without stating the fact that Hezbollah is only popular among 60% of the Lebanese Shiites who are in favor of forming a Shiite Islamic state in Lebanon. The Shiites form 25 % of the Lebanese population and its not true that they are all supportive of Hasan Nasralla's agenda. Many of my Shiite friends are against him. The Lebanese are 18 communities who share power in the best equal form dividing it 50 % among Moslems (Sunnis Shiites and Druze) and Christians (Maronites Greeks and Levantine minorities). Making Hezbollah look like the hero that is defending Lebanon is a big hoax. The party is backed by Iran and Syria therefore instead of punishing Lebanon, Israel should hit the source and not a helpless country that has recently become independent and still under a rough struggle to regain its control over all its borders. Shame on the governments of the free world for letting this happen, The destruction of Lebanon Award goes to Israel and Hezbollah.
